aluminum driveshaft 1/4 mile question

right now,my car runs 13.2 at 103 mph consistently in 1/4 mile.

this spring,i will be adding a 1 piece aluminum driveshaft and am wondering if anyone can give me an idea at what i might expect performance wise.

i'd imagine it would be minor and maybe the 60 ft time might improve or maybe a 10th off 1/4 mile time.am i corect or way off? thanks.

also,i'd be going with Mike at powerhouse in Erie since he's 10 minutes away and a good guy.

My car is a fox so your's might be different, but when i went to an aluminum driveshaft I picked up .....

Nothing

It took care of a vibration I had becasue of the damper on the 4 cylinder DS being worn but no performance at all.

Same here. It took care of the vibration I had.

Might help you more than us, the 2-peice '05+ shaft is much heavier, I know it shows chassis dyno gains so you might see something small at the track.

yes the 05 an up cars have seen some improvement

I've seen guys claim .2 gains. I put one on and it feels like a completely different car.

yeah,just taked to a buddy on another forum and he pretty much had same bolt ons as me.he said he picked up .2 at the track.if so,i'd finally be in the 12's which i'd be happy with.

What all do you have done to the car now?
There are other things that cost less and could give you a bigger improvement.
