    Portable 2 post lift system, pretty cool

    Still a tiny bit wary of the safety of this setup, but it is very cool!

    I couldn't see the whole video (dialup sucks) but it looks like there were some bolts in the floor (10.5-12 seconds in you see something on the floor).

    I think the idea is that you can unbolt the lift for storage so you dont always have it fixed in place taking up room.

    Either way, thanks for the link! Something like this gives me food for thought on my spring garage project!

    Yea there are some sort of anchor points you install into the floor, then you bolt the lifts to those points when you need them. Sorta cool idea, the only thing I didn't see was any safety lock on the lift mechanism. Most lifts have those locking pins that click every few inches when the lift goes up, I didn't see any on these.

    It cost just as much as a "real" lift so why not get the real deal so you can work standing up? Are there plugs for those anchor points to keep dirt and other objects out of them?

    It didn't have any pricing when I first saw it, but I think $2400 is a bit much too, still a sort of cool concept though.
