looking for a woods bike

anyone know some one selling a 2500 doller bike for 1500 bucks? i traded my raptor for my little brothers jeep and need a bike till im ready to get a new one. 250 2 stroke would be best but open to others

well i know this is out of your price range and not even what your looking for, but if you just want to get a newer bike now i have an 08 YZ250f with FMF factory 4.1 pipe, new D.I.D chain, renthal sprockets(+1 in the rear).. less than 20 hours on it. Will sell for what i owe on it

Cr125 prob sell for 1500 Runs fine but never rebuilt that i know of so new rings wouldnt hurt

so far i found a 94 yz250 fresh top end and alot of new parts for 800 and a 04 kx250 all stock real low hours for 1500

the '04 doesn't sound too bad!

There used to be a '98 KTM 380SX on craigslist for sale for like $900.. i considered buying it just for the heck of it, but never did...

keep your eyes open and low-ball the heck out of anyone with a 2stroke... whether they like it or not, 2 strokes won't bring very much money anymore... with the 4T revolution and the outrageous performance of the thumpers, 2 strokes just don't hold any value.... make sure to use that to your advantage...

ive been a lowballing freak all week. even had a couple people looking to trade for my samurais. i get off tomorrow. will have a bike tomorrow night

if you're interested in riding sometime, let me know... i'm only like 30 mins from Weirton, so that's not too bad of a drive for either of us, depending on the location...

Good luck finding something... i gotta admit, the only thing i miss about my 2smokes is the sound.... my RM265 was a blast, but i've been converted for sure!

i had a 4stroke husky and liked it but it didnt impress me to much. maybe cause it was 97 i bet the new ones are mean. but for right now just looking for a cheap beater till i get a new bike this summer. prolly will be a quad. will def get ahold of you one day. maybe for yellow creek or something. or ill come up that way

AAAHHHHH yellow Creek. I have had Bishie there before. I dont think he cared for it much though. That and we had to tow his bike out with my buddies Raptor. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH

yea, whole different world... that's back in teh days of the XR400 and such... the MX thumpers are outrageous.. my CRF450R is stronger than my RM250 with a 265 big bore kit.... the new MX bikes are a lot of fun, but there's still a little bit of 2stroke in my blood

Oh no, i liked it there.... dunno if i ever told you what happened, but the reeds shattered, and that's why we couldnt get teh bike started again...I was later told that it was a common problem with the V-Force Carbon Fiber reeds.. that was miserable, that's for sure... i felt bad for everone else that came to ride.....

That trip was my maiden voyage with the quadracer 250 that I re did from the ground up. Motor Trans and all. That thing flat ripped.

that was very fun.... even with the snow, i had a good time, right up until the bike shut off and we tried for about 3 hours to get it running... i would def like to go back there sometime
