now can it be tuned well even with that much fuel on tap or will it alter the mixture to rich?
Yes. It can be tuned. 42's you will run out. You have to get tuned though.

ok what maf do i go with???
Thats entirely yor choice there. How do you want the car to be set up as? Do you want to do an intercooler like mine? You could do a blow through meter and run a BOV. Or you can do a sucker meter and run a draw though meter. A blow through will give the best results for sure. I personally like the Pro-M meters. I have used PMAS also. It was good but the pro-M is better in my opinion. Then you have SCT meters. With those you HAVE to have a tune to get it running as the meter and fuel injectors go hand in hand. You cant get an SCT calibrated for 60's to start it up whereas you can with the Pro-M and PMAS. Stay away from the C&L meters.

i want to do an intercooler down the road a bit but i think a bov would sound mean on a fox. its a vortech v1 and the goal is 12lbs what set up do u think would work the best?? im stumped on the maf part
Its an A trim right? You will need to pulley the hell out of it. Remember, boost is a measure of restriction. You leave stock heads on it you could see 12 PSI, change to better heads and you could see 10 or less. I would for now do the 95mm draw through meter unless you are willing to spend the winter and do the front mount intercooler also. Search my threads here and you can see how I did mine.

who makes good draw through
u want a pmas meter and just buy the 95mm velocity and that will be the last meter you will buy and no it isn't too big. There is no such thing so don't let anyone tell you different and if you are leaving stock heads on this car or even a small aluminum head with less than 10 psi(which it will be with an a trim) you don't need 60's. With 60's you have room to grow but if you aren't planning on growing then use 42's. They are stock ecu friendly. I bought 60's for 265 shipped off of corral before but that was over a year ago.
Throw the fmu in the garbage too if you have one.No need for that either.42's will be fine without it
88 GT...and some boost
Listen to whoever you want. ^^^ Who has blown more motors than you can imagine. Or from good experience. 60's and never look back. They cost the same.

If you are referring to me about blowing motors not sure where that info came from.I don't need a power adder to run 10's and have built 14 cars in my life so i believe i have experience on my side also.Another thing you must look at is duty cycle.A stock headed car with 60 lb injectors will not run the injectors at a good enough cycle.A 12 second car doesn't need 60's lol.

42's here with my one dyno-queen run @ 538. They have worked for me for the last 5 years, but 60's are a great upgrade.
