X2 - I beat the ever living hell out of 28 spline axles and they mostly live. In my case they outlive traction lok carriers ;)

Its funny when the stuff breaks... But not as funny when its yours... I think I am going to go with the 31s and then get the carrier around tax time. Possibly some 3.73 gears. Then tires before summer! Should feel like a completely new car since the Kenne Bell makes so much Torque anyways!

If you don't have them already....how about a good set of subframe connectors.

You should do C-clip eliminators to make it legal/safer if you do the rear, probably weld the axle tubes if you plan on racing with sticky tires regularly.

My last 3 Mustangs all got full-length subframes connectors within a month of buying them. Its a good habit to have
