... was there ever an F150 XLT that also had the cobra emblem like what you see on an 03-04 cobra on the side below where it said "XLT"? I don't recall that ever happening but wanted to make sure.

Saw said vehicle today when I was at the bank and chalked it up to "redneck rice"

A long time ago, I drove a new 85 GT at Ray & Mentzer Ford. They got 10 of them in that where built as Canadian export models. They still had the KPH speedometers, and had "Cobra" decals on both fenders and on the hatch. They where sold there that way. Nothing different about them except the stickers and KPH speedometers. I regret not buying that car :(

wow! that would have been cool to have in your collection. I'd regret not buying that too. Is there something in the VIN that says its for export to Canada?

My friends dad's 73 Mach 1 is like that. It came with wierd looking cobra stickers from the dealer because they couldnt move them off the lot back in the day.

Vin, no, but the door tag and buck tag would.

LOL, If I would have bought it back then it would have been ridden hard and put away wet and likely used up ;) I was shopping for a DD at the time.

My brother in law bought an 86 "cobra" from canada brand new. 5 speed with t-tops. Had it till the late 90's. His wife got it when they split up. I think it ened up rotting away in a field in northern PA.
