Yeah it does sound contradicting doesn't it. I meant out of the choices listed. IDK. I think I'm just in the mid winter project blues already.

Either 05-09GT or "none of the above"

Id be willing to give the 3.5 used in the twin turbo SHO. Id be willing to bet the motor will be quite stout, but whether the AWD would grenade under mods is something to be seen.

plus youd have the stealth factor with the SHO

2011 GT for me, Ford is finally getting back to its roots. No greedy shelby logos and cheaper pricing. Bang for the buck on these cars is going to be insane. Add a little boost to the higher compression 4V and its on.

I'm sure he meant 2010 as the 2011's are not scheduled for sale to this spring sometime according to the website. From what I saw other than the 5.0 badges it will look just like the 2010 does now. Which makes sense they just revamped the S197 platform for 2010. It's all about the drivetrain for 2011. They may offer a few special colors maybe or trim packages but I wouldn't look for any major cosmetics. I've always liked the look of the Retro Stang. Not real crazy for the rear of the 2010 though. Needs help if you ask me. IMO.

    ^^ no worries.

Did anyone see an anticipated sale date for 2011's? If I had to guess I'd say June but that's 100% a guess

I will throw in on this....My next,( and last ) project is going to be a fox coupe. It is going to have a 500+ ci big block with a single turbo, a 2 speed glide. The target HP is around 1500 with times in the low 8's and driveability.
Project "LAST CALL". This is my last complete build as i have had 41 different stangs ranging from 65' to 03'
Speed Kills....Play it safe and buy a CHEVY!!

For true daily driveability, I'd take the '03-04 Cobra with a 3.4L Whipple, twin disk and beefed IRS. I really miss my black '04 :(

why not an 03/04 mach 1, use the extra money you will be saving from buying an cobra which would be around 8k and throw a turbo, full suspension, built tranny, and keep it looking stock
