Be careful with that B50 block. Dont milk it for everything your combo will make. Its not that strong. Perhaps only a little better than stock.

    That's for sure.
This is my first cold season with a SC'd car. The first time it was in the 20's-30's I was amazed at how much more responsive it felt.

Too bad the cold air brings snow and salt too, otherwise I'd run the Mustang all winter.

Got any links to a sportsman block splitting?? I couldn't find any when i looked a year or two ago... This block will hold every bit of power i throw at it, definitely 9 sec capable with ease... at least lets hope. I still only have aspirations of mid 10's. Spent too much time broke down to go crazy fast and risk busting.

The B50 was basically a stocker with different numbers on it. It splits just as easy. Go on corral. I almost bought one thinking they were great. After reading up on it, almost everybody that had one destroyed it. Thats why Ford quit producing it. There is no extra material anywhere for it to be stronger. Even the ones converted to 4 bolt, didnt help. I would hate to see you break it with all the money you just threw into this new combo.
