This is exactly why I bought a Dynojet! The Mustang dynos are good and accurate when used/calibrated properly. Problem is my most owners/operators don't have a clue which is why you see no consistency. It is also no secret that with a mustang dyno you can skew the results very easily. Those 2 factors alone are why people go nuts for a dynojet, it's not that the numbers read higher, it's because they are consistent and repeatable. You will also find that a properly calibrated and operated mustang dyno will usually yield results within a couple % of any dynojet.

Nice car you have there, good luck next year

Does a mustang dyno have to be calibrated for each car or do you just calibrate it once when you get it? I would say that this mustang dyno is pretty close if not dead on. They dyno'd a bone stock 90 mustang right before mine was dyno'd which the numbers seemed to be where they should be. I would like to put mine on a dynojet just for shits and giggles and to clarify.

    Thanks for the compliment :)

Just goes to show that when Ron Robart gets his hands into the port work amazing things happen. Don't forget he helped to design the TW heads beofre going on his own and starting Fox Lake, so he knows all the secrets to SBF power.

When I get me 90 GT back on the road this Spring, Lasota will be tuning it at Timmy's shop and I plan to also put it on Mike's DynoJet to see what the difference in numbers actually is.

You are exactly right Ed. Thats why I chose fox lake. And you know whats funny I told Ron my combo and he predicted the numbers I should make before I put it on the dyno. Let me tell you he was almost dead on. The same goes for Rick Anderson.

Did he predict that TQ number?
I have no doubt the 429rwhp is in range, I just still don't see 498rwtq on a NA 347 through an AOD on a loaded Mustang dyno.
Ron is a very good guy, we first met him selling heads out of the back of a Ranger in Norwalk at FFW. I drove my brother down there to pick up his set of Stage 2 Canfields and ported Vic Jr intake, he talked to us for a while on a whole bunch of car stuff. Cory Roth there is a good guy too.

    No problems here bud!

    Whens the tune with Lasota?
After you get it tuned drop by Wolfpack's and throw her on the dynojet so we can see a comparison of the numbers.

    Any more pics or updates?

I plan on doing that exact same thing with my 94 this summer. Having Lasota tune it, then later in the year go to wolfpack just to get the results from both dynos

    That's my concern.

I'm also thinking you may have to take some gear away to keep trap rpm down.

The car never leaves the state again for chassis work, agreed??? Tool.

Yep, he said I should pick up 70 hp and tq to the wheels. Going off of the dynojet numbers last year he was about dead on. What about when I made 417wtq last year on a dynojet with an inferior combo. Do you believe that?

I had had videos of the whole car and the dyno pulls with numbers but I tried to upload it from my camera to youtube and lost everthing

I will take it to clarify things but not until I get my enclosed trailer or the weather breaks.

Remember when I took the car to GNL mtorsprots, who is no longer on the site? Lets just say it wasnt what I expected and I had to do most of it myself. Along with damage done to the car. Im still dealing with him to try and get money for the damage done.

It has 4.10's in it now but I am probably gonna take some gear out of it. The tire is a 28X9 M/T. I like small tire cas.
