    Project Lil Red

Well Guys I bought this car one year ago with the plans to sell my grey car and build this one into my street/strip car. I decided to share the build with everyone. I bought this car in December 2008 which it had the basic bolt on's. The car ran a 13.70 @ 99mph with street tires and shifting rather easy. Well the grey car was sold in October so the build was kicked into high gear. The goal is for Lil red to come out and run high 10's on her first pass. Ill post some pics of the build which is almost complete. The first couple pics are pics of the way I bought the car. Ill post pics of the underneath of the car as soon as I get a chance.

Can't wait to see it's first pass Mike. You didn't swap the auto over? As I see the shifter in car still.

Sounds like a decent combo, with a good tune you should be well over 425-430 at the wheels.

    Good luck!

Well I fixed the fuel delivery problem and made a couple more pulls to get things ironed out before Lasota comes. Ill post the numbers now and when I figure out how to upload the video from my camera to youtube ill post it. This combo was put together to make tons of torque. Before I made some changes and I made pulls on a dynojet it made 323whp and 417wtq. I made changes to the combo this winter to get the car into the 10's NA but still stuck with the plan of making tons of torque.

After fixing the fuel delivery problem and making some adjustments, it made 429whp and 498wtq NA on a mustang dyno. Im now comfortable enough to let Lasota to have at it.

Im sorry bud but that Mustang Dyno is inaccurate at best.
NO 347 is going to make anything close to 498 rwtq
429 rwhp with your combo is possible though.

Either way it doesnt matter, only what she runs at the track!
Dyno is only a tuning tool........
Good luck with your tune by Lasota

What kind of raceweight do you expect to be at?

Looked through your pics again and everything looks super nice.
This should be a pretty potent performer at the track.

Good luck and no hard feelings about any dyno #'s b.s.
