    Project Lil Red

Well Guys I bought this car one year ago with the plans to sell my grey car and build this one into my street/strip car. I decided to share the build with everyone. I bought this car in December 2008 which it had the basic bolt on's. The car ran a 13.70 @ 99mph with street tires and shifting rather easy. Well the grey car was sold in October so the build was kicked into high gear. The goal is for Lil red to come out and run high 10's on her first pass. Ill post some pics of the build which is almost complete. The first couple pics are pics of the way I bought the car. Ill post pics of the underneath of the car as soon as I get a chance.

Can't wait to see it's first pass Mike. You didn't swap the auto over? As I see the shifter in car still.

    The engine details are:
    stock block 347ci
    scat crank
    scat rods
    probe pistons
TW heads stage 2 by fox lake
holley systemax stage 2 by fox lake intake
    anderson cam
    accufab race TB
    anderson PP
    80mm prom MAF
    36lb injectors

Sounds like a decent combo, with a good tune you should be well over 425-430 at the wheels.

    Good luck!

Those would be big numbers on a Mustang dyno through an AOD, I'm guessing 400rwhp max.

You are very close. My goal was 380hp being a mustang dyno. The preliminary numbers with no tune, 15* of initial timing, and 58lbs of fuel psi were 405 hp 488tq. The reason for so much fuel psi is I was having problems AFR reading very lean so I turned it way up till it would barely run and made a pull and the afr was still reading very lean. I only had a 255 intank but have since put a T-rex on it but have put it back on the dyno. I shouldnt have to have more then 39 psi of fuel.

So you already had it dynoed? Was it a dynojet or mustang? Nice numbers if it was a mustang.

Ohh I didnt know you were going to a Mustang Dyno.......

Lasota tunes out of Big Shot dyno alot which is a dynojet dyno, maybe head out there....???

Also didnt see it was an auto so yes that will kill the power maybe another 5% or so....

    Good luck!
