Spec 3+ clutch vs. Turbo 427

Just wanted to show some carnage pics.
Single disk Spec Stage 3+, rated at 850 ft.lbs., car made 900rwtq so I can't complain. Car drove relatively normally, just slipped on launches. It has groves ground into the PP side and FW side, I tried to get shots of those:

Nice!!! Been there, done that myself with alot less power. Stick cars are cool but they sure do like to chew up cash.

Wow. How much boost was that under? I have the same clutch and will be boosting in the spring on my 414w. How hard of a launch was it? rpms?

That was my best pass, about 3-4psi launch ramping up to 15psi, made 865/900 to the tires at that boost.
You may be on the edge for that clutch. I really liked it, much better than the regular Spec 3.
How much boost and power planned for your 414"?

Sounds about right. What's in the motor and what's supplying the boost?
Unfotunately you will be right on the edge IMO with that clutch, but as you see, it'll hold at least once :)

Its a stock 351w (which makes me nervous) with forged internals and a girdle to keep it in the engine when it splits. Its gonna have a single turbo on it. Have a 76mm Precission right now, but considering selling it for an 88mm or bigger.
