I have to work alot outside and It's rough sometimes. I hate dollar generals roofs for example steel buildings with slight peak all steel roofs. Ice and snow on peak roof equals one scary situation. Then the wind blowing while your up there when it's already cold just sucks. I have a full network install at carmike cinema in dubois for tuesday. I hope I get a break. I did just get a large kerosene heater for my midget garage that I have the cobra in so I can try and get some work done.

I'm lucky enough where my garage is heated by the boiler return lines for the house. In normal winter temps, the garage maintains upper 50's by itself and I can bump that up to 65 with a small electric heater. In this freezing weather, the garage maintains around 50 and I can bump that up to upper 50s with the small electric heater. I work on the car 1 to 2 times a week (have to if I expect to have it done for spring) and I never take for granted that I have a warm environment to work in.
When I was growing up, my parents had a chicken coop for a garage, no heat, where you could see light through the walls. I was out there pop-riviting DOT signs into the floors on my 68 Camaro freezing my tail off. Couldn't feel my fingers, those were the days.
Even though my current garage is small, it sure beats that old chicken coop.
