x3!! My garage isnt heated so today after work i was going to go buy a kerosene heater and go pull my fenders off. Stayed home and did absolutely nothing instead.

Sounds about right, plenty to do in the garage but no ambition to tackle the cold.

I hear you on that but I had no choice due to being a little over on my oil change interval.

I had to do it new year's eve because it was the only break in the weather. The 3 days before that the lows were in the -12C to -15C range (about +10F to +5F). New years eve I was changing oil on the driveway in the balmy -5C (23F) degree weather. Then yesterday we had snow which stopped and resumed again today. When the snow finally stopped it was up to my knees in places. Tonight's low I think is supposed to be around -8 (17-18F) (EDIT - oops, thats tomorrow night tonight is only -1C (30F)).

A little less snow here but temps are the same as yours right now.

Wow that is pretty cold! The winds pretty much missed us with this storm (gusts were only into the 60kmh range which is... uh... upper 30's mph)

I was lucky enough to work in my buddies heated garage today (and yesterday, and again tomorrow)....todays plan was to swap back to a 180 t-stat in my truck and polish some alum rims.......it's amazing how a simple t-stat swap can turn into a 3-hr ordeal....

Pretty sure I could never make a living as a mechanic.....
