so i was out running around today in my 06 f150 when i noticed my heater only worked when it was on 4 not 3 or 2 or 1. everything else works. so my question is would that be a control problem or a blower problem?

I'll third this. It is a very easy fix on the air box either behind the glove box or on the bottom of the airbox. You will have to lay on the floor to get to it if it is there. Not to bad though. I've had to fix it on a couple different vehicles.
