Anyone have any experience with the Thompson Encore or Encore Pro break action rifles? They claim that you can buy barrels of different calibers for your existing stock. Anyone take advantage of their interchangable system? How did it work out for you?
I have a Thompson Contender pistol, which is similar, as it is possible to install the rifle parts and make it a rifle. I can say that the gun is dead nutz relyable, and the break open action works very well. thompson center makse nice high quality guns IMO.

I had a TC pistol when I was younger and it was great, my brother in law has a 270 in the TC custom shop rifle and it shoots good also.
