    Screaming Mach I

Last year we installed some 4.30's, this year the customer came back for a low boost Vortech Supercharger sytem. After the installation was complete, on the dyno she went for some custom tuning. Final numbers were with a little less then 8lbs of boost

nice...dont see too many yellow mach 1s.

what happens with the air inlet from the shaker scoop? looks like it was just taken off after the s/c install? is it not used anymore?

Manual transmission, the kit retails for right around $5k, my cost to the customer is much friendlier

That is correct, the shaker stays on the good for cosmetic purposes but that is it.

i see i see...it'd be cool if the kit integrated it into the piping somehow. at least its bringing in some cool air from outside into the engine bay though

My brother just put the stock eaton from his cobra on his buddy's blue mach 1. They fabbed up some brackets and kept the shaker too, it looks sweet!

Actually, there is an add on to this kit that does just that. It doesn't make any more power but it is pretty cool. Customer didn't want to pay for it though...
