    New hood opinions

Well, ive decided that im going to go with a new hood on my 94' project. My current hood, 95 Cobra R hood, isnt going to clear the intake I want to run with the taller windsor.

Going to stick a cowl on there to be sure it fits.

    Should i go 4" or 6"?

    Lift off or bolt on?

Recomended brands would be great as well.

*Note- Im only 5'6" so seeing over the hood is important.

5'6".......yeah when your wearing your 6" platform shoes......

Lift-Off is going to be a good bit cheaper and a few lbs. lighter.

H.O. Fibertrends is suppose to make some of the best quality hood there are and they are in OH and we could go pick it up and save boxing fees and shipping charges.

Go with a 4" at the tallest, I can't see the front right corner on my 4" and i'm 5'11". H.O. Fibertrends get my vote, I bought one for my car and seems like it started a trend on here.

6" hoods look ridiculous imo on a fox. i'd go bolt on, not that big of a weight difference compared to pita savings.

i agree^ ...6 inch will look out of control lol. go with a 4 inch. and i personally would go with a bolt on hood too unless your car is gonna be a drag car only (which i am assuming its not). the lift off will get to be a pain in the ass

well i guess i was wrong then! ...in that case, get whichever one you feel like dealing with....i personally would still go bolt on. But with lift off, you can remove the hood hinges and save a little weight and just put hoodpins in all 4 corners
