Hi guys,
I have a Liberty Gear Proshifted TKO in my Mustang and I drive it on the street. It's jerkey, whiny, and you have to double clutch it to prevent it from grinding on the up and down shift but at the track it's the best investment I've made. I def wouldn't want it in a car that's street driven regularily, that's for sure. I'm actually thinking about looking for a trade for a stock TKO because with the 2 babys in the back seat it's not much fun driving to cruises or shows. Just my .02.

You are definitely gonna have to turn some rpm too make power with this combo. Looks good
sweet build cant wait for finished product and times
Thanks bud!
This may be true with an off the shelf cam but I have a custom cam spec'd for my exact combination and it will make max h.p. at all usable rpm.

I have thought about this and still continue to do so.
I do have an agreement to purchase a Liberty Face-plated TKO 600 right now at a very agreeable price that would be very hard to pass up so I am leaning towards the stick.
Im sure the car would be much, much faster with the auto but it's hard for me to give up what I love (stick shift). With a stick its much more of a challenge to get a good 60' and to nail all of your shifts down track.
Auto's just dont impress me.....like a fast stick car does....:)
i just think its going to be hard to hook up a 8000 rpm stick shift launch where an auto might not hit the tires so hard , and trust me i like sticks as much as anyone

Look man i'm not going to sit here and argue in his thread because i made a simple post implying that it's cool he's got people helping him with this new setup. I'm pretty sure he understood what i meant. Sponsorship probably wasn't the best term i could have used, next time i'll be sure to put a little more time into my posts to make them easier to understandOriginally Posted by GMKILLR
On a more positive note... I'm curious to see how badass this thing ends up turning out.... better not get scared of this one :)

EMS's are wild. It's pretty cool being able to change every parameter of my car on my laptop... I actually had a guy helping me with my idle, remote desktop onto my laptop from out of state and spend about an hour helping me set up my tables correctly... gotta love technology.
