That is cool. Shooting a carjacker with a shotgun shell in that gun will definately remove his head!

That is AWESOME! I've been wanting a home protection gun, and this looks like it fits the bill perfectly! I wonder how much it cost?

    Paul,

My job is a firearms examiner and i have shot over 1000 different firearms in the past year. I can tell you the Taurus Judge is in my top 3 favorite.

    Heres why

    1. Its versitility- Being able to shoot both 410 shotgun shells and 45 long colt.

    2. Size- The public defender model with the short barrel is perfect for a car.

    3. Price- A new one can be had for around $500

    4. Recoil- One would think a 410 gauge shotgun shell would make it hard to shoot but its not at all. I have no problem firing this revolver one handed.

If i were getting one for home protection i would get the 3.5" Magnum chamber and fill it with 000 Buckshot. Each shell holds five 70 grain buckshot pellets that will make a sizeable hole in someone.

I beleive it's only offered in 2.5" or 3" chambers.

ViperEd and I were just at ACE sporting goods in Washington. They had them in stock, I couldn't bring myself to buy one for the price right now(i'm thinking they were in the mid $400s), but I did buy a Kel-Tec P-3AT. Its a nice sidearm carry in addition to my Taurus PT145.:)

They are pretty shitty but i own the ame gun, fits in my jeans pocket very nicely and is a nice backup to my Glock 29.
