Well, they got the 2010 FLD schedule on the website. www.flashlightdrags.com Five events in Waynesburg and two at Beaverun. I think they got the date wrong on one though. It says Sunday, June 23rd, which is actually a Wednesday. I can't wait, only four months.

That's awsome! I'm glad they got a few dates there instead of 2 or 3 like before. I have to find out for sure but I think the one in may might be the same as our car show here in Masontown. That's going to suck if it is!

I've never been but I hope to get the car in good enough shape so as to not break anything. Sounds like a good time.

What do you consider pump gas?

I used to go to the Sunoco in Castle Shannon and get 110 leaded straight from the "pump".

If someone wants to ride around @ 8 dollars a gallon I got no problem with it.

Pump gas is a fuel that's readily available at any gas station you may run across in your expected driving route(s).

If your car requires 110 octane but you can't drive your car more than 50 miles round trip for fear of not being able to stop at any fuel station and fill up.....then you don't have a pump gas car.

If you would like to participate in a racing event in XXX location but can't because you cannot get the 110 "pump" gas or E85 "pump" gas in that location, then you don't have a pump gas street car.

E85 is not pump gas in SW PA.
110 is not pump gas in SW PA.

93 octane is pump gas in SW PA.

If we lived in an area where E85 is readily available (midwest?) then it would be considered "pump" gas.

If you have to find that 1 out of 250 gas stations that have your required fuel, you don't have a pump gas machine or street car.

The above is fact and not opinion. :):):)

I kind of agree with this statement. Fortunately for me I can run both and just turn the boost down to make 800hp on pump gas (bought from any gas station). When it's an event closer than 1-2 hours away I can run the good stuff and utilize over 1000 hp. BUT!! Fuel isn't the only thing that makes a car a street car my friend.

I agree 100%......I only focused in on the fuel issue since it came up.

In my opinion, if you can drive your car from home to the event, compete, and then drive it back home again, then you have a street car.

Thats why I always have a 93 octane tune on my car and a 110 tune :)
