Couldn't agree more, I hate the posers that trailer there "street" cars to a place like this that live 20 minutes away. I'm guessing I'm an hour and a half away and will happily enjoy my a/c on the ride up.

I can't wait myself! I don't know if I'll try the Bird out but I'll at least be there with my Buddy and his 65 GTO. He ran it in 07 & 08, it was a blast.

...sure there would be some cars for u ta run. It's so incredibly fun to race, if u do u wouldn't want to go again and not. N if u wouldn't want to, they usually had a show area. At least at Zeli they did.

It looks like you have Fusion in addition to the 'Bird. I've seen people running Fusions and just about anything else you can think of there. There is definitly a wide variety of cars to choose from to race against. You should try it at least once. You'll be hooked.

I know I'd have a great time even if I lost every race it'd be fun. That's just it though I'll probably get hooked. I'm also afraid of hurting it then not having the money to fix it. But we'll see, I'm not saying I won't. They don't have a car show area at waynesburg, at least they didn't in previous years. I actually was there when someone was running a fusion, he didn't do too bad either. He's form wv, his son in law was racing his white shelby mustang.

Yeah, I think we are talking about the same guy. He had just had a Whipple put on it and blew me away on my second run in '08.

i think the flashlights should be like true street in the nmra and nmca events... You can trailer if you want but you should have to have a 30 mile cruise with everyone before you race. And when you come back no opening hoods, no changes what so ever and no adding fuel... That is a T R U E street car. Reason i think this way is cause anything can happen and if you live 70 miles away and break then that is alot of time and money that could be avoided.. And i think that this would also bring more people in and let the "street" cars prove if they really are street cars.. 30 miles is less than some people would drive and more than what some people would drive.. It would be everyone on a level playing field

I know the first fld i went to I had the time of my life,just a blast to race that event and grudge race people. I'll just turn the boost down and run pump gas all the way out there, should be enuf to whoop on ol TooFast98Cobra thats for sure

That's him. I met him and his wife from going to car shows in the Morgantown area. They're a very nice couple! They where also there with Steve, he has the 65 or 66 blue Mustang with the Snake on the fenders, and his brother with the Falcon. They're a couple of nice guy's too.

Since you where there you probably saw my buddy's 65 GTO. He'll be running again this year.

I saw the guy that runs the drags at the WOW show today.

He did confirm they are back and had some dates.

It"s a strong running car. I've seen him at the car shows as well.
