    Buying a new car

My brother wrecked his focus around christmas and can finally start looking for a new one now that the insurance is taken care of. He's looking to spend around 15,000-17,000 range.

He's going to test drive these two tomorrow.

    Jetta:

    Fusion:

    http://tkcarsites.homenetinc.com/Bud...icle_id=18695A

Any opinions on them? Also, is there anything real nice out there in the price range he should check out. His only requirement is, "it can't be a manual"

The fusion is the exact same as mine. Only mine has 12,000 miles on it. The fuel mileage listed is wrong. I get about 30+ highway. Get that, no down falls with it at all. Its our second Fusion and we will be getting another one. It handles like its on rails too. The 18" wheels really set it off too.

I would look into a lincoln MKZ. More of an upscale fusion and I am sure one could be had for under 17,000 if you look around.

I like the Fusion much more than any of the comparably priced mid-size cars out there. Or...he could buy a 5 year-old Taurus and use the rest of the $$ to buy John4cam's '98 BAB Cobra!!!!

    KEEP TRYING!!!

Of those 2, I'd take the RX8 over the Hyundai.

    Good luck!

He found an RX8 at Hi-endauto that he really likes. I know a lot of the cobra guys on here have dealt with them. How far is it from the burgh, and are they good to deal with?
