I would buy a toyota even if they are having issues before I would buy a new GM (govt motors) or dodge(govt motors). Or a Ford of course.

Well, I partially agree with you here. Aside from the Chevy truck my father-in-law GAVE me, I would never own or buy a piece of shit from the general. If another one was given to me, I would probably crush it with my bull dozer at work.

I hope I did'nt confuse anyone when I said "or a ford", that means I would also buy a ford.

Sadly I do own a GM and a dodge but they were purchased 5 years ago before the govt takeover, never again.

Didnt confuse me there. It took a few times reading it but it was pretty clear.

we had a tacoma for awhile, it came into the garage with some small issues and we bought and fixed it. 50,000 miles on it and a huge hole rusted in the frame by the fuel tank. not mention is was the most guttless POS I ever drove.

I have picked up countless mid 80's japanese trucks that had such badly rusted frames, I couldn't even chain them down on my trailer by the frame. Had to go through the front control arms and rear axle. Only one domestic I've ever had that problem with, a badly abused 88 Chevy 1500 that had apparently been parked in a salt bath for every one of its 12 years.
