The manual tranny is your biggest variable. If it was an auto your et would be 2x better then what you gained in the 60ft, or atleast very close

Those times were on different days here is what the same day 60ft changes were doing to get rid of some variables...

Mike, are you running a stock clutch and drivetain? If so, how is that thing holding together?
No Burnout Bill
Stock drivetrain and I don't know if its a stock clutch but its the same clutch that was in the car when I bought it 20k+ miles ago. Clutch is getting old but still works and doesn't slip much. Pedal is pretty damn spongey after a run. The t-45 has seen better days, but then again its a 131k mile stock t-45 that I powershift the balls off of, so thats only expected. Drives fine but once and a while I grind 3rd with the clutch all the way in. Probably could use new synchros, haha.
I was seriously betting $$$ I was going to snap something on the 6500rpm launch but I was pleasantly surprised haha.
Edit: The old tired clutch is the only thing thats probably keeping my trans and rear end in tact.

For sure that is my approach, but the reality is, I'm trying to move 3200#'s with 140 cubic inches, it's not my primary ride, and I get off on wheels up launches and the looks it gets ;) If it breaks, I consider that the weak link, upgrade, then go find the next one :D It might not be the best path for your daily driver, something you have payments on, or plan to keep a while ;)
That said, you will never beat the feeling of a dead hooked launch off the limiter
I love dead hookers!!!
