scott- mostly for a second intimation.lol... beings im the 1st lmao but nah havent shot it yet, prolly this weekend.

brian- i really liked the look and reviews i read, and its not to big so it can fit in small areas or i could just put it on my belt. i work on weekends with my neighbor (his dad is fayette county sheriff) doin derby's,bike runs,weddings,parties..etc really whatever he needs help with. these events do not require act235 but i am gettin certified so i can do other armed work on weekends.

Nice, but I think the heaviest bullet you can get is a 180grn.

guy at gun shop where i bought gun says he has up 200grn for the 40cal. just wasent instock. also found place online has 195grn. even if i get some 185's that would work, have to look around.

Ya I just seen that, but if it were me I'd go with a 165grn or a 180grn. If you want a 200grn bullet in 40 cal then the 10mm is the way to go.

10mm is a differant caliber/gun all toghether, what I ment was the 40 performs very well with 165-180. I think anything heavier or lighter in weight then a caliber change would be better.

    Examples

9mm performs well with 115-147grn bullets
    40 performs well with 165-180
45 performs well with 200-230, with 230 being the best option.
10mm performs well with 180-200 with 200 being the best option.

So if you want anything heavier or lighter than a caliber change may be better.

    Thats is some good info since I just got a 9mm & a 45.
