The only Mustang I've ever owned was a '73 Mach 1. Had lots of Fords over the years, but that is technically the only Mustang

Turned 15 and started saving for a crotch rocket. At the time my parents hated the idea of one so when I got my permit they made me a deal to match what I saved if I got a car instead. Needless to say I picked the red mustang and instantly got bit by the mod bug. Have had it ever since and picked up a snake along the way. The funny thing is that nobody in my family could tell you what motor is in their car. Who knows where it came from.

I have a few automotive loves, but the terminator has made its place in my heart since I first laid eyes on a black one in the church parking lot in the early spring of 03. Fortunately, it's also the most reasonable of the cars I hope to own (or at least drive) at some point in my life.

Viper, Ford GT, and Ferrari F40 are also on that list.

My 2 best friends back when I was maybe a freshmen or sophomore in highschool. One had a 94 gt the other had a 95 gt. Hanging out with them all the time and rollin around in the cars sealed the deal for me.

    SFT!

Thats how it was at my H.S as well. If you had a nice clean 13 second 5.0 with an opened up exhaust it seemed as though you had some exotic car! Lol.

    good ole days.

    Mustangs

In 1973 I was nine years old, my sisters boy friend took me for a ride in his 66 fastback. And I was hooked ever since.. It had the fat tires that rubbed in the rear and mag wheels It was the coolest car at the time.

Watching Steve McQeen drive the hell out of that fastback Mustang in the movie Bullitt.
I was 9 years old when that movie came out in 1968 and it got me hooked on cars.
The sound of those cars, (Mustang & Charger), screamin through the streets was heaven to my ears. It actually gave me goosebumps.

What made me want my first Mustang was because they were cheap and I didn't have any money. So in 1985 I bought my first Mustang, a 1971 Mach1 with 77k miles, black with white interior, 351C auto, Crowler can & lifters, long tube headers and Holley carb. The car was in pretty good shape and inspected, a #3 driver with some rust around the rear quarter lips. The price was $700, which was common those days.

I learned how to drive stick shift in my dad's 2005 Roush Mustang. I loved and was scared of that car. It was perfect.
