    WDVE Morning Show

The last two weeks I noticed Randy Bauman has not been there. What happened?

I haven't listened to terrestrial radio for about 2 years, but heard at work he left for another company. Why they wouldn't say anything is weird. The bigger question is you still listen to WDVE with the same 20 songs they've been playing for 35 years? That morning show is about 20 years past its prime. Ben Klingston and Ralph the cat, I bet they're still ringing the last drop of comedy from those ones.

It's a contract issue with Randy as Jim mentioned the other day about him and said he couldn't say more since it dealt with contract.

X2 I'll gladly pay $12 a month for any genre of music I want with no commercials and no morning djs blabbing away all morning.

I agree. I listen to Stern every morning except when I take my kids to the sitter (for obvious reasons). I had DVE on and they had a "mall guard" bit. I thought to myself, "Isn't this a little played out?"

Well, I don't necessarily listen for the funny stuff, the sports coverage is good. I usually flip stations when they start playing music.
What makes me mad is in a city with no where near enough music on the radio, b94 is going all sports, which will probably fail in 6 months, hopefully. I don't blame anyone for paying for radio, with the lack of selection here.

It seems like B94 changes formats every year. What was the format before the most recent format? I can't remember.
