    Good stuff, lol.

They should add one of my pet peeves, when the person Capitalizes The First Letter Of Every Word In A Sentence < annoying isn't it?

We use the cap letter of each key word alot on ebay and our store, it is supposed to enhance the ability of search engines to find our products. Kind of annoying in a paragraph though.

Hm, that's weird. I guess the search engine hones in on words that are capitalized or something? Never heard that before.

I guess google will be all over my last post then :D

Avoid Power Posting. Some Internet message boards and forums offer prizes or awards to the people who contribute the most to discussions. This leads to "power posting", which involves replying to threads with empty messages or with nothing more to say than "LOL" or an emoticon. If you don't have anything useful to say, don't reply.

This, in my opinion, truly shows your maturity, when you have to be part of a post so much you just type :)

Take Personal Issues Off the Forums. Internet forums and message boards are for public discussions which bear relevance to more than a few people. If you have a personal issue with someone else, take it off the forums. If the message board offers a private message function, use it. If not, exchange e-mail addresses and continue the discussion in private.

That may be the case sometimes, but everyone here has different personalities.

Some people only post when it's car related. Others have quite a few friends they like to interact with over the forum. Mabey poke a jab at someone here and there. Sometimes a sense of humor is a good thing IMO.

This is the best advice on there.

Ask Before You Attack. In many cases, a seemingly offensive post is not meant the way it sounds due to the lapses in communication on the Internet. Before you dig in with both claws to provide a snappy and nasty comeback, consider asking the original poster to clarify what he or she meant. If it turns out that you were correct in your original interpretation, you can feel free to speak your mind; however, if you weren't correct, people will respect you for having an open mind.

I guess I should clarify that I was referring to the posters that are posting simply to add to their post count, or to comment on a for sale item with no knowledge/interest in the item, etc. I guess its just a pet peeve of mine.
If it's worth taking the time to post, it should be more than 3 letters or an emoticon, again, my opinion.

Sometimes its better to sit back and just read, rather than feel you need to get involve in every post.

And I agree wholeheartedly with the above post.

Oh yeah, post whoring and the classified clutter is BS for sure. Some people just cant stroll past an add and not post Great deal! Nice car! Nice dog! If I had the money I'd buy it..

I'm guessing this may be a thread that is fresh in your mind.

    http://www.steelcitystangs.com/forum...ad.php?t=18255

I try to only post in threads when I have a concise thought or something to add to the topic.

I love when someone posts a ton of pictures and type several paragraphs noting a build they are in the middle of or a story about something that happened, and the first response is "cool" or "nice"

If that's all the information moved you to think, don't even bother hitting reply. I'm not just talking about SCS, I see it on EVERY forum I frequent (which is about 8, lol).

Oh and I should add one more thing they forgot, "Do not post pictures that are 6 miles wide, this not only makes your pictures essentially useless to most users for viewing, but also makes them scroll back and forth to read replies and click on forum navigation buttons."
