i get new glocksfor $398 w/o night sights and i think $450 or so with the night sights. leo discount.
i bought the small compact 9mm last october and still never shot it.
springfield XD ftw!!!
And where are you getting new glocks for those prices? I called a buddy with an FFL today and also spoke with 3 of my leo friends, all cops and avid gun collectors. All of them acknowledged discounts for leo's but all laughed at your prices. Not calling you a liar, just want to know where the deals are!
Couple years ago I carried a Kimber Pro BP Ten II. The 1911 style upper was nice but the grip felt too "Glocky" to me. Glocks shoot great but just don't like the grip. These are tough to conceal but are more my style of handgun.....

No need to laugh at anything.
PA police supply in Chaulk hill PA.
unless the prices have been drastically raised since october thats what i paid.
I also have my Glock Armorors certification, but any legit LEO with a vaild ID can get those prices, but only from a police supply place like Chaulk Hill or Markels in pittsburgh that deals in selling hundreds of glocks. Markels supplys pittsburgh pd with all of thiers.
Walking into any shop on the corner with leo id or going to a FFL with leo id isn't going to get you that price and most can't come close to touching that price.
I remember ten years ago when i was a deputy and had to get a letter on work letterhead just to buy hi cap mags for my first glock i bought prior to getting into law enf.
The intention of the good price is that you use the firearm for work.

I've never been there but have met him and a couple of his workers at the Library gun bash. One of my trooper buddies just got me a super nice price on some .45 acp ammo from them. A few of us are all looking for something that he quoted us a nice price on when we were talking with him at the gun bash, going to go see him soon...

Enough power compared to a rifle maybe. With the quality self-defense ammo available today for the 9mm theirs really not much differance between a 9mm, 40, 357sig or a 45 in terms of terminal ballistics.
If you don't beleive me go research the ballistics and you will see for yourself.
