well, Scott I don't know what kit you got and what 3ggt2 is smokin' but mine took slightly more than 10 minutes per side. I made a few rookie mistakes because I'm not familiar with these components. If I had to do it over again on a Chevy, it'd probably take about 2 hours.

i a'nt smokin nothing,if it took u more than 10 mins per side to loosin up 3 bolts and bolt it to the top of the strut and tighten 6 bolts u should step away from the truck before u hurt yourself (p.s. the 10 min didnt include removing the tires.)

j/k mang. what kit did you get? I got the skyjacker. I had to remove the strut from the truck which meant removing the tie-rod ends, upper A-arm ball-joint and sway-bar end links on each side. I had to cut the three stock strut bolts to size. That is where I was stupid. I should have cut them first before putting the spacer on. Instead, I put the spacer on, then used a hand grinder to saw them off. Still, it would have taken me a little longer than 10 mins after tire removal. And, I wasn't drinking.

i got mine off of ebay i didnt have to remove the strut i was able to just un bolt the strut and lean it out and install the spacer and reinstall and i also had to trim the 3 strut bolts.
