    Brake Proportion Valve Question

I was reading about how to convert my 3 port MC to the newer 2 port since I am upgrading to sn95 brakes. If you gut the stock valve would I be better off just throwing the junky stock block away and going to something like this? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G3910/

I have read that some people set the adjustment up for the rear brakes, and some suggest for the front. I am assuming the magazines are more correct with the adjustment being on the rear brake line.

Can someone clear things up for me? Is there no real safety factor if you lose a brake line once you gut the distribution block or is that built into the master cylinder itself?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Wick I am sorry but I read 20 some pages and got like 2 pictures of a proportioning valve out of it. Can you answer me a little more directly. Your car sure does look nice though haha. Will that proportioning valve work that I linked too? I think it would help clean things up even more.

I really don't know how that one works that you linked. The wilwood one I got us nice and simple. All you need is that and a Tee. I ran new lines though under my k member. The valve went right into place without any changing to the inlet line. The tee cleans up where the stock valve was.
Thanks also! I also have a stock radiator for you if you still need one.

i'm getting rid of the Proportioning block all together, replacing it with unions and a tee... then put a SSBC (just like wilwood) valve in-line with the rear line where it joins together near the passenger side hood hinge. really, it's like it was made to go there.
