    Masontown Pa. VFD Car Show

Hey guy's and gal's, My family will be helping putting on the car show once again this year. It's our 10th year putting it on and 100% of the proceedes go the the Fire Dept. It would be nice to see a nice turn out from our local forums. It used to be the first sunday in may but we got rained out last year so we decided to have it on the 23rd in hopes of better weather. Of course wouldn't you know they decided to have the first flashlight drags in green co. that day as well. Of course those of you that would like to do both can, we have a class that is non judged, it's $8.00 to regester instead of $10.00 for the other classes. The $8.00 will still get you a dash plaque and goody bag, if you're in the first 150 to get there of course, then you can leave when you're ready to go to the drags, and you'll still be helping our local Vol. Fire Dept. And if you like the chinese auctions, ours is huge! We usually have over a hundred items on it.

    Any new news Jay?

I have it on my calander AGAIN for what seems to be a yearly attempt to come down to your show...but the weather or a last minute problem always seems to interupt my plans...

Just checking, it will be here before we know it.

It's moving right along. I talked to my Mom today and it looks like she has all the trophies sponcered, she still needs to go to some of the local bussinesses to see what they want to do. We have a good bit of door prizes and the chineese action stuff is comming in. So it's comming together.

If you're going to come to one of ours you might want to make sure you come this year. Unless we get talked into it this is my family's last time to put on this show. It's our tenth year doing it and that's enough. So next year if there is a show at the fire dept. it'll be up to them keep it going.

Wow, really? Just tired of doing the work involved with it? Can't say I blame them haha...

Those who have gone to it in the past have always said it is one of the nicest shows around. Hopefully they get to go out with a really good show on a nice day!

Hey Kerry, So far there's a 20% chance for rain tomarrow. It looks like an all day rain today, so hopefully it'll be done by tomarrow. That'll be cool if you can come out.

We registered for the Arthrites Foundation show in july out your way. Dan from foxtbirdcougarforums.com and I think he's on foureyedpride as well, he wants to park together on friday so you should try to find us.

That is a great show. Last year was our first time there. It's a can't miss show now for us. That would be Dan with the cougar? If so, met him at the show last year. Just got back from a wedding. Hopefully i can get my butt out of bed early enough to get on the road.

Yes, Dan with the cougar. He's the one that told us about it. We're getting ready to get up to the fire hall. They just said there's a chance for an isolated shower but most of the day should be dry.
    Hope to see ya.
