WTB: 24 Hours of Lemons Car

A few buddies of mine and I are going to compete in the 24 hours of Lemons event this summer. Our "race car" has to be built for under 500 bucks. We'd love to find a junky fox that runs to prep up but we'll consider anything for 500 bucks or less. Let me know what you have!

here's a link to what it's all about

Thats awesome. Seriousley, get a 2.8 S-10 5-speed. I had one I beat on at work a while ago. That truck competed on the "Robthrowpalooza" on an hourly occasion. I would jam it in first, foot to the floor, smack second never lifting and just run the hell out of it all day long. It seriousley never saw normal driving. Always on the banger. Popped about 30 or 40 tires doing butnouts, jumped it on a daily basis. I could not destroy that thing, that is until the day I jumped it and poked a hole in the pan and didnt realize it. It locked up. I let it sit over night, grabbed a bull dozer and with it in first gear I pushed it backwards to free it up. It started right up knocking and all. I put it to the test for the next 4 days with the usual routine until I just felt bad for the poor thing and sat with my foot on the floor till it blew. It took about a good 5 minutes with a rapping motor at WOT to blow a hole in the blosk and send parts flying.

Haha that's sweet. Once we find a car and start working on it i'm going to make a thread in the garage section.
