Let me tell you and everyone a liitle story, about 6months ago my fire department was call for a person hit by a car, unknown if the car is still on top of the person. So we get there and found that a 76 year old women ran over a 60 year old man, and killed him.

We figured she'll never get her license back....well we were wrong. About 3months ago my department get a call of a tri-axle vs. a car with entrapment. Our rescue gets there to find that very same old lady behind the wheel of a newer car. Long story short she later died in the hospital due to injuries from the accident.

So that lady from the video, just might have got her license back...Who knows?

It should be *mandatory* that people be retested every so many years after a predetermined age for the driver's test. As a person matures reaction time lengthens and the ability to judge distances becomes difficult. Hell, commercial airline pilots can't fly when they eclispse a certain age. And may be well capable of doing so to boot. Lives are at risk and I personally know an older woman (yeah I like older ones but I give up on 'em when they hit 55):) who drives on the left hand side of the road. Last time I checked Monessen wasn't in England.

I can tell you this.. I was visiting my cousin in Fla. a couple years ago, and I was driving his LT-1 T/A (H/C/I).... I was going straight about 35mph on a 3 lane road. I was on the far left hand side. An older guy in the prerequisite mercury Grand Marquis came out of a mall lot,across all three lanes and slammed into my right hand side. I 360'd and straightened it out to avoid going into the oncomming traffic on the other side. ...................The police officer came over to me and said the older gentleman was trying to blame me.
