Oh it's coming along, slowly, thanks for asking.

It's been a looooooong winter. I've been working on it since October. I'm in the final stretch, one month to go. My goal was to be finished by May 1st and I'm pretty much on schedule. This final month is going to be frustrating, because I'm sick of working on it and now that the weather is nice I'd rather be driving it.

I did have to change my plans since we last spoke. With the economy and reduced hours at work throughout the winter, I decided to do a "partial" and just get the car cleaned up to be a decent driver. I saved the original paint instead of repainting it by fixing the damaged fender, striping over the damage (because you can't accurately match 25-year-old red paint) and buffing the car out. I repainted ALL the gray trim, replaced the few rubber seals that were bad, headliner, a few custom touches, mechanical repairs, detailed, and endless misc.

The budget is spent, actually I'm $500 over budget and I still have things to finish up. (registration, inspection, oil change, filters, alignment) I want to change the springs (sits too low) and I was going to put "C" springs on, then was considering Bullitt springs. Now I'm thinking about putting stock springs back on due to the long-tubes and Pittsburgh topography, not to mention not having any more money to throw at it.

Being very short on extra cash, I was thinking about posting an ad to see if anyone had 79-93 stock springs they would like to donate. (no 4cyl or convertible springs, would have to be V8 GT or LX springs) I'm no longer looking for "C" springs.
