    Will Ford Probe...

...rims fit on a 99' SVT Cobra? My buddy totaled his and the insurance is takin the car tomarow. They said if he takes anything off of the car he's got to replace it. The rims seem to be good and he just put brand new tires on them. So I was gonna give him the Probe rims to swap'em out.
He's goin to be havin some stuff for sell, I might post whatever he salvaged from it on here.
Which sux is he just put a supercharger on it and had to take it for rip, cause he couldn't wait till the weather gets nice and hit some black ice.
Lemme know asap about the rim fitments, I'd appreciated it. And I'll keep you guyz posted on what he might be sellin. Thanx, Brent

The bolt pattern is the same, the hub size might be different though... 93-97 have a larger hub.

    True..

...that. The Probe rims I have were used on an older stock turbo'd one. They are similar to the tri-star ones that come on 99'-04' v6 Stangs. I'm not sure exactly what year they r thou. He left them in the garage I took over renting off of him and then he sold the car before he grabbed them. So he said I could just have'em.

Taurus and Sable are odd ... Probe is a 5 x 4 1/2 Ford pattern. Guys use them on SVO's becasue a FWD wheel is a good offset for that suspension set-up.

Me and my buddy actually thought they might not fit. I did look up Ford specifications on rims and in the Bolt column section the patterns the same but everything else is different. He wanted me to just bring them down and try'em out. But I didn't want to waste any time so I told him to forget it, unless I heard different.
I just noticed n ur sig Greg u got a 89' turbocharged GT. I was kinda bummed out when my buddy sold his, he just got it on the road and fixed up too. But a house and family started takin into effect. Thats a rare dying breed thou, u should post some pics sometime when u get a chance. I'd like to check it out. I actually never knew that they came stock turbocharged.

I just got this one before the snow flew... (89) I don't have any good pictures yet. It has 73,000 miles on it and runs and drives like new.
