New Taurus SHO - 12.75 Quarter Mile with tuning

The new SHO looks like a nice piece. This would make a sweet daily driver.

They're alright. Too expensive. 12.75 is impressive though.

Yeah I don't think they're that big. Although all fords look beefy now, like the f-150's and such. Wonder what they weigh...

Like it was said, the new SHOs aren't cheap - but my '95 SHO wasn't loaded ( no sunroof, no CD, no full leather, and a 5-speed manual ) and it still stickered for $26k. The new interiors are amazing, and I really like the paddle shifters. Throw in the huge rims/tires, all wheel drive, and the rush of twin turbos and it is one heck of a package. When my wife's Explorer has to go one day I would love to replace it with a gently used 201x SHO.

I like the new SHO. Sure it's big, it's a Taurus! I however, am really psyched with Ford's new attitude towards performance. The new 11' GT , Raptor, and SHO and a few other models that were at the Detroit Auto Show on the way. Yeah these new models are definately more expensive than ever. I do feel that there is a considerable amount of refinement, however I don't agree with the prices of this stuff either.
