GM Guys Help! 93 Blazer 4.3 Vortec help.

About to pretty much be given a 93 Blazer..has a problem with the gas leaking into the oil?..that's all I was told..says he drives it very rarely but changing the oil a lot, and it runs fine..something possibly about the fuel rails?

I'm not too sure with GMs, I had a 93 jimmy with a 4.3 and it was junk, in my opinion.

i know theres a few guys on here that could point me in the right direction

the only way i can think that you'd be getting gas into the oil is if the injectors are sticking open when the car shuts down.... so the gas is seeping down past the rings into the oil..... taht's really nothing specific about GM motors... it would be the same way with any engine.... i'd imagine you can pick up a set of injectors for next to nothing for that truck... if the injectors were the same, i have a set of stock LS1 injectors that i'd just give you... hoewver, i doubt they're the same......

that has a spider web fuel injection. notorious for cracking due to being brittle. pull upper intake plenum and you will see the spider setup.

I have heard this as well..the guy who has the truck said he had some mechanic replace it not too long ago for around 1500 bucks..i know the mechanic he took it to, some dumbass grease monkey so that could be the problem as well..im gonna pick the vehicle up tomorrow, change the oil and bring her home. will start to tear into it in the near future once I get some spare time...


thanks for the help guys & the offer on the LS1 injectors, although I do not think they will work..will try takin a look though!
