Yet another GREAT experience at Wolfpack Speed

Mike advised me on installing 4.10 gears over 3.73, WOW!!!! Thanks for steering me in the correct direction. I love how the car pulls in every gear. You hear no noise at all from the gear. Also Mike talked to me and advised me on what to do when something went wrong. Also what did go wrong I would not have ever noticed but he still told me about it and advised me on what to do. That is what makes a professional shop stand out. Thanks again Mike!!!!

Thanks bud, I really appreciate that!

I had to press on the new exciter rings on his aftermarket axles. The first 2 sets cracked so I bought him new ones and tried again, same thing. I did everything I could...

Cleaned up the od on the axles
Cleaned up the id on the exciter rings
Had the axles out side in the cold for hours
    Heated the exciter rings
Supported the exciter rings while pressing

Nothing worked, I think the od on the axle shafts were a little out of spec. The exciter rings are extremely brittle as it is, they took way more force to press on then the last pair I did. Fortunately they are just stress cracks on the inner ring, the outter ring and spokes werent harmed, so he will probably never have an issue. I just don't like anything less then perfect leave but this was as good as it was going to get and Derk was fine with that.

    Mike
