Pulled her out of the garage today and switched up the wheels. Better pics will come along after I officially take it out for the summer.

Also changed from 17" fr500s to 18" fr500s on the DD...

I disagree. I would keep that tire and lower it. Just looks funny because of the way its sitting now. No wheel gap and it would be a perfect stance. Maybe cut a coil??


I just need to go a little lower with mine it should sit nicely. I will once i get my coilovers on

If I'm not mistaken Brian, his springs are already aftermarket or cut??...I could have swore in an earlier thread he may have already cut or the springs were cut..hmm..maybe im thinking of someone else?...

the old rims you had on the cobra, they seemed to give the car a perfect stance IMO.

I have to agree with Brian in this one guys. I think the gap will have a huge impact on the final look. Just after putting them on today the car has a noticeably larger gap. I did a lot of research before buying. Next up will be either more trimming of the springs or coilovers.

This car has the exact same front setup but lower....

The springs on the car now are cut but you can always trim them a little more!

That makes two of us! His car looks perfect to me. I ordered a full front MM coilover system today so that should make it a little better. For the back I might cut more coils or switch them to coilovers also.
