Opening day for PRP is April 3, weather and track/pit conditions permitting.
I wouldn't want you to make the ride down March 20 to find a closed gate.

42's opening weekend is now the same as PRP's.
Beaver Springs opens next weekend, if you want to get a TON of TNT passes this is the place to do it. My bro made 27 passes in one day.

Straight from D42's website.
I am sure conditions at PRP are similar. I am sure it depends on the weather the next 3 weeks, but I am not sure PRP will be able to open on time, without the place being a sloppy mess. However if the weather stays like it is right now we would be in good shape.Tuesday, March 16, 2010
Mother Nature can sometimes be a fickle lady.
Back on February 28th, when the last of the snow fell, it was likely that some remnants of nearly 3 months of the white stuff would be around for the entire month of March.
After what seemed like an endless string of snowy, cloudy days, Mother Nature shifted gears and provided a wonderful combination of two weeks worth of above freezing temperatures and some rainfall that was able to clear the last of the snow from Dragway 42 this past Sunday.
Unfortunately, the term 'SOGGY' does not begin to describe the conditions in the pits at Dragway 42 after nearly 3 feet of accumulated snow melted over a period of 14 days.
With over 50 years of experience on what it takes to dry out the pit area at Dragway 42 so that the season opener is a drag race and not a mud bog, a decision has been made to push back the start of the track's 2010 Spring schedule by two weeks.

The PRP site was updated yesterday, with the info that the weather is helping them get the track ready for April 3.
I strongly suggest visiting the PRP site this year. It will be updated often, now that the former webmaster is back, and the accessabilty is improved.
I also suggest signing up for the e-newsletter, which will get you upcoming events and results right into your inbox. And I'm the guy that writes them! Sign up by hitting the link:
