    I'm going back to work!

Hey guys, finally after 11 months of being laid off I got the call to go back. I talked to the boss on monday and was supposed to call this friday to see if he needed me to start on this monday comming, but he called today and needs me to start tomarrow morning. Now I have to go shopping tonight, I've gained quite a few pounds while being off and I need some jeans to work in. Eventually I'll get my uniforms back but until then I have to wear my own clothes. So wish me luck!!!

Thanks Matt! Yeah it's nice to be going back, and I'm able to keep the wage I had when I was laid off, so that's a good thing. I was hoping while I was off to find something that paid better but that didn't happen. At least I'll be working again, and the way it sounds I might be getting overtime right off the bat.

Glad to here you've found something better! That's great man!!

Congrats man, the only thing that sucks about it is it will screw up your U/C going back on a Friday. At least you'll get a partial though.

Right now my field is slower than hell. Thank god I got on with a company for a while to build my U/C back up. Now I'm not worried being off, kind of enjoying it, Lol.

Good deal! I've never been laid off... got my hours cut to 40 for 5 months last summer and I almost went nuts.

Thanks guys. Yeah that's one nice thing, at least I'll still get my uc for the 4 days off, and it's looking like I'll be working sat. and possably sun. The ony bad thing about sat. is I had a car lined up to detail, I have to call and reschedule it. I actually liked being off last summer, I was outside everyday either cutting grass or cleaning cars. I may have to stay home from some car shows this year so I can do some cars.

Thanks everyone! It was a long day, I worked 6:30 - 4:00. A few of the guys are getting overtime so I figured I'd work as much as I could. I start at 6:00 tomarrow, so my first check will have a few hours on it at least. It was nice seeing all the guys again too.
