Does anyone remember the scandal about the original company that was building the Eleanor ? They were using guys in prison to do the bodywork on the cars. 13 gallons of Bondo per car. Yikes !!

My buddy bought his old rio red 99 cobra.....I've personally had to repair the complete hack job this kid did on the car.


Oh...btw....he's a complete piece of sh$t liar too.....but that's another story.

What all was wrong on the 99? I remember seeing the car at Carlisle right before he sold it, looked pretty good at the time although I didn't look very closely. I'm guessing many of the problems surround the '00 R style intake he made and the hand made spoiler right?

I"m not going to get into all of it.....he's a complete mechanical hack...and when it comes to body work....I"m saying not much better.

didnt know that.. just saw that thread and thought it was pretty cool, and i saw someone mentioned the cobra r intake but didnt know anything about it.. Thanks for the heads up tho
