Ricer hang outs in/around the 'Burgh

Spring time is in the air... Well its different for me. When spring time happens in Afghanistan, the Taliban emerge from their caves, Comb their flea-ridden beards and shoot rockets at us. But then they foolishly give away their positions and we frag their ass.

Back to topic:

In my travels around the Burgh. I have noticed that the Robinson area is one that seems to be a hot spot for these weed-eating, 175 horsepower (but 90 foot-pounds of torque) street beasts.

Last encounter I had was in July/August of 2009, the Moon Township Sheetz off of Business Route 60 teams with these poor-college kid wagons. But thankfully, on a few occasions, backup Muscle has shown up. (Young guy with the lopey Cammed, Red 04 GTO, if you're out there, I thank you).

Just wanted your last sighting of a Rice field (3+ ricers). ;)

I live very close to Moon and see them all the time at Sheetz.... and i've also seen that same GTO at sheetz.... And occasionally the WalMart parking lot in Robinson has a bunch of 'em....

Yeah, the Sheetz nights get interesting. My buddy goes out there in his 2003 Nissan 350Z (Silver, black rims, aftermarket spoiler)

And don't get me started on the Walmart Parking lot... ugh....

Is it just me or have the rice fields twindled largely over the last few years?

It seems like the APC riddled rides ruled the streets for 3-4 yrs after F&F came out...and has decreased back to the same level as before the movies' existance.

Yep, was just going to say the same thing. Now the ricers even know they look rediculous.

Figured I would bump this thread.

I can think of a few spots.

McDonalds in Canonsburg between midnight and 3 am.
Wal Mart in Washington.
The Mcdonalds off the Belle Vernon Exit and Wal Mart.
Sheetz in Canonsburg.
And of coarse on 70 at night, seems like they always get off at Bentlyville.

Yeah, I love driving past seeing them all talk about how good lime green looks on their Civics. Even better is when they have the hood open to show off the lawn mower engine.

On a related note, I had a Neon, the older model come up fast on me down 70. I let him pass because im not going to waste my time. I swear a piece of his zip tied on body kit blew off and hit a big rig and flew off to the shoulder. Made my day.
