Thread: My 89 PGT

    I have since upgraded the intake and exhaust and fixed the torn throttle body boot. I added a Passetter 2 1/4 cat back and I fabbed up a down pipe with a megan resonator and a 3" K&N air filter

    What a sweet "rare" find...you are doing nice work with it too. Those GT wheels look right at home on it...

    Thanks, I saw thoes rims on another car and had to have them... I got a great deal here too.

    Thanks, I get around 28mpg going 75-80mph highway

    I had an 1988 mx-6 gt turbo for a few years. Great little car. Had 255,000 on it when I sold it.

    It's damn hard to kill a F2T engine... trannsmissions on the other hand
    Mine has 80k on it now so I have a long way to go.

    Funny you mention that. A buddy of mine I sold it to at around 275,000 or so blew the differential out of it.

    It had a miss so I gave I a full tune up... back to running great at 18psi. No turbo upgrades for the DD..
