GTO vs. GT

My buddy just picked up a nice 2002 GT and we had to give them a run. His is auto,has lots of suspension, CAI, exhaust, and 3.90 gears. I'm stock M6 with a shifter and catback. Went from a rolling start of about 5 mph to around 110. GTO by two cars. I was impressed with his GT. Not sure what else was done to it if anything, but it performs well.

Me too! I told him it was fast for a 2V when we test drove it. The guy he bought it from was clueless, the first owner did all the work. I told him we need to hit the track with it and that will shed some light on what kind of power he's got.

I know from a roll my old yellow auto, 4.10 geared, bolt on gt would get pulled pretty decent by even a stock ls2 GTO. Then again the gears would prob keep the gt fairly close till around 70-80 or so.
