MT ET radials would be the best street DR but if you dont want the DR sway in the back then you will want to start looking into the road racing tires. Toyo R888
The best hooking end all street tire is the hoosier DR but they are darn neer slicks and any dirt or watter and you will be in the ditch but I guess they hook like no other from light to light. If you dont mind the sway from the soft sidewalls.
Dont listen to any of the nitto guys because they are only good to the 500rwhp mark. And yes they will be posting them up! It was hard for me to sift out all the BS on the internet so I talked to a few shops and weekend racers.

Wow, very sweet car, congrats!
I'd look into the 18" wheels and some minimum 27" tires, you'll need something sticky :)

Hey thanks for the comments on the tires. Anyone recommend an 10.5 over a 10 wide wheel? Most of the wheels I like only go up to 10? Is that a huge difference as far as traction?

the guys who spin the nittos dont have the suspension to put them to good use.. NMRA guys easily seen single digit ets with 1.3 60fts and pull the tires with nitto drag radials (old school versions) the new school tread is supposed to be better
The only thing is, is going with a 10.5 inch wheel so much better than an 10 inch wheel enough not to get the wheels id like to have just to do 10.5? Sorry if that doesnt make sense?

Oh there is one of the nitto guys now. LOL Oh you can get them to work with a drag only suspension setup but then again I am sure ANY tire will work better with a setup that only goes straight on a sticky track. Have you seen anyone cut a 1.3 on the street or a track that wasnt preped? You guys must live you lives a 1/4 mile at a time to come off preaching crap like that.
