So heres THE BAD part, Ill get it out of the way:
-The car has 67,xxx miles on it. I purchased the Mustang in Houston, Texas with roughly 9,100 miles. I got it home with 10,500 on the clock. This was November, 2006. From November 2006 - June 2007, I was training in Virginia and EVERY WEEKEND I drove from Manassas, Virginia to Youngstown, Ohio to see my girlfriend. This is all highway miles with the cruise set to 80. I ended up putting 30,000 miles on the car is this duration. To give you a clue of the highway miles involved, Google Youngstown, Ohio to Manassas, Virginia. Ohio Turnpike to PA Turnpike. Turnpike to 70... 70 to 81... 81 to 66... then 66 until Manassas exit. I would actually say the number in highway miles is at least 40,000.
-I hit a deer. Yeah, shit happens. July 2008, I was on my way to the Outer banks and hit a deer 10 miles from the hotel. The deer hit the passenger side fender (above the tire) denting it it, busted the front passenger headlight and foglight, Chewed up the FIRST Agent 47 mirror and dented the hood. Lucky for me, it was all cosmetic and I was able to get the car home. (no puncture to the Saleen intercooler ) I did not turn this claim in on insurance (23 at the time... 23 + Mustang GT + insurance claim = bad) and just paid out of pocket to have the work done. I spent close to 3500 in everything, this came the new trunk deck (to make it a spoiler delete), Cervini's hood, Hood pins, new fender, new GT badge, etc. The only remains of the accident is the passenger side headlight bucket, which you can tell has been re-painted (they didn't clear coat it or sand it, so it looks rough).
-Yes, I have taken this car to the track. It has less then 15 passes on it and I have yet to power shift it. When I pulled the stock clutch out of the car, I was suprised to see it still had a fair amount of friction material on it and really didnt need changed...
The Good!
-I have every single original part, minus the deer-damanged fender/hood. I threw nothing away nor sold anything I took off this car. I have the silver 17" Alloys that came on the car (Ford lugnut Cap) and I also bought a set of 17" Charcoal Bullitts that are just sitting in the garage.
-Royal purple 5W-20 since supercharger, Royal purple MTX fluid since clutch change, Royal purple differential fluid since gear change.
-Wax and leather treatment. This car has more cans of wax on the paint then I would ever like to total the sum of. It has been well taken care of.
-Given the circumstances of my job, the car has spent lots and lots of time sitting in my Dad's garage in Ohio, under the car cover with the battery disconnected.
As said, nothing wrong with the car. I just want a GT500
Please PM me if you have any questions, I should be back in the States for 3 weeks in May. If you wanted to see the car, I could have my folks show you it on a weekend. They could work out the sale for you per power of a attorney.
I do apologize for the pics (Bought a new laptop, all the pics of the car are at home on a backup).
Ill see if Im able to get the folks to send more.
Thanks for looking!
