    Thanks Everyone!

Joe - The only thing that might add some more class to this operation is you out there in a set of go-go boots backing me in ;)

John - I run 3.97 1st gear ... I tried a 3.35 box to start last year and almost broke my nose on the bog after the hit. New combo might tolerate it more, but it's to be seen. The next box going in the car is a 3.50 1st, we will see how that works and go from there.

Track was great early on, seemed to get a little looser later in the day. My good 60's was all early, as the sun got on it,they went away a little for me. 13.70 is great for what you have there, goos lights and run the number will go rounds.

Martin0660 - Nice looking Capri you got there. Congrats on your new best. I got my new best time also. The track was hooking good for me, my last pass at 4:30 i pulled a 1.4 60ft, i think i pulled at least the left front wheel cause at the end of the track i noticed my rear view mirror was facing down.

AdamantiumSilvr - Nice win against that camaro, that was a close race, he was a little quiker but you got em on the tree.

Did you guys see the hood fly up on that red foxbody gt, made me think about getting some hood pins, that sucked i hope it didnt do too much damage. Looks like maybe bent the hood, probably damaged the cowl, i couldnt tell if it cracked the windshield.

Yeah Bob, my best was my first pass as soon as I got their. But I then ran off three mid to low 13.8 second runz. Thinkin I might run a bit better later in the day but didn't. I'm for surely lookin forward to be doin some actual racin and goin some rounds this year thou!

U saw that run Black Vert, nicccee?! Your right, he was a tad quicker thou and it was a pretty close race too. He was on street tires also. But my reaction times were on point and I was runnin consistant too, I should of just ran the gamblers race, maybe next time. Its alwayz nice BS'n with ya and congrats on ur new best too!

I didn't know that it was the gambler semis, wow! He's was definately bummin as was I along with him, specially since followin the build on the sites and after he just got it all ready to rock again. Plus its sssooooo sharp lookin. I stopped by after my last run, surprisingly the damage wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Take care thou brotha.

Awesome runs Bob! You really made up some major ground from last year. I thought for sure you were going to go 11's. I heard UMTR canceled its QCR stop due to managment.

That Black vert is one bad car. It makes me wanna slap a turbo on my car for fun .

As for my car, as you all saw the hood did come up in the semi's and did a ton of damage. Roof, hood, windshield, and the worst part is the cowl is destroyed. I dont even know wow you can fix that. The traction was starting to go away later in the day and I shook the tires when I launched which I think shook the hood loose. My one buddy kept telling me I needed hood pins and I told him I didnt want them plus I have a saftey latch. Well it didnt work at high speeds.

LOL ... That's what I do ;) It's okay when it is running the numbers I want, when it sucks and is still breaking parts, it's not so much fun ;)

It's already fun ... The lighter car will just be gravy :D

It is cancelled right now. They are looking at alternates for the opener, but right now it's just a hole in the schedule.

The cowl panel is welded on, but it is just sort of a cap on there. I've seen several off to fix rust issues. How bad is the roof?

It wasn't bad for me, it just didnt have the great bite it did in the morning. I've never got mine to shake, seems like it's either dead hook or spin. That shake stuff scares me after seeing Mikey's car take the studs off.

That lane was cursed there for a bit ... your hood ... the next pair was the other half of the semi's. The car in the right wouldnt start after sitting while they got you off the track so he got timed out. Of course he drove through the water and rushed to the line but too late. I was next in that lane so there was water up there, then proceded to break my tranny.

That sucks, least you made it home. After blowing 3rd gear out 3 times in my T5, I switched to a C4 I had laying around before I broke the T5 again.
Now I trailer my car in case of the unexpected I can still get home.

Thanks. Slap on turbo on yours and you'll be easy into the 9s.
What kinda RPM you turning on that motor, it sounds wicked
Was that a factory or fiberglass hood?

I 'm only spinning it to 6100-6200 due to the factory block. I race mine so much I dont want to where it out. In this year alone I have 21 passes on the car lol. I have a 86 Buick T-type so I have been playing with turbo car for about 13 years but for what I do I like NA.

I took the car to a friends body shop to see how much to fix the car today, $1100-$1500 with him doing me a favor. It will be back out the second week of May.

Ouch! Thats an expensive day at the track. That sucks, that would have scared the shit outta me I would probably have put it into the wall. Look forward to seeing your car back out there.

    Great news Bob!
Well, all except the T5,but like you said they don't count :)
Did you play with the AMS at all? Chance to leave on more boost with the 3.50 first or ramp more in sooner?

Very sorry to hear, I'm sure you'll get it back and looking just as good.
I also had a similar accident but lower speed on the street.
The cowl panel can be welded on and I thought you could have got them from Ford at one point. Probably a cheap yard find now. Good luck getting it fixed.

Sort of ... the ramp feature is set to Zero :D (all in, all the time) At least for right now.

I think you saw how I have my settings wired up off swtiches ....

Set switch One on, set to spring (10.5) + 11 gave me spot on 21 psi. Set switch two to 14, gave me right on 24 ... dialed in 1 more psi and right on 25. So it works GREAT.

The plan is to dial one setting in for bracket racing with some reasonable level, the play with the other one for kill mode ... Should keep me some fall back position for a greasy track or whatever that I can just race.

I've been driving the car with the system off (10.5 off the gate) and it keeps me out of trouble :D I really never need more than 10 psi on the street, so I just shut both switches off ... kinda cruising it will tip in to a few psi as needed. Flick a switch on and all hell breaks loose ...

BTW - If you are going to street drive a lot, I recomend you add something to disable it as well. Just driving around it keep trying to duty cycle the solenoids to make setpoint. They are rated for millions of cycles, but no point ot beating them up if not needed.

Cool Bob, all in all the time, I like that :)
I also just drive around on the gate spring, still makes enough steam on 6-7# to pucker me up a bit ;)
Switch 1 is wired to the 2-step on the clutch how you recommended, when the clutch came out, it turned off the 2-step and switch 1, going right to the ramped switch 2.
Still thinking how I'm going to do it with the auto.
I'm thinking have the 2-step and switch 1 wired to the trans brake to control the launch, then go right from the TB to switch 2 for a ramp it, hopefullt to 25psi and hopefully it'll hold no ramp. And the AMS is wired to a green switch, I figured green for GO.
